Brit Awards 2026 winners in full as Olivia Dean takes home top prizes

The 26-year-old north London star dominated the Manchester ceremony, taking home Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Pop Act and sharing Song of the Year with Sam Fender

Olivia Dean was crowned Queen of the BRIT Awards after scooping FOUR gongs including Artist of the Year. The 26-year-old confirmed her status as one of the UK’s biggest stars at the annual ceremony, held for the first time in Manchester.

She also landed Album of the Year, Pop Act, and shared Song of the Year with Sam Fender for their song Rein Me In. The success comes on the back of similar silverware at this month’s Grammy Awards in which she won Best New Artist.

The north-London born star - whose songs include Man I Need and So Easy (To Fall In Love) - beat acts including Lola Young, Lily Allen and DAVE to the coveted Artist of the Year. Young however picked up Breakthrough Artist, while other stand-out wins included Wolf Alice for Group of the Year, and Sam Fender for Alternative / Rock.

Rosalia picked up International Artist, while Geese won the International Group category. A talking point included the first ever K-Pop winner with ROSÉ & Bruno Mars grabbing the BRIT with their song APT.

Last night’s show at CO-OP Live saw Harry Styles open proceedings with his new song Aperture, while Dean, RAYE, and Wolf Alice also performed.

One of the most emotional moments included Ozzy Osbourne being honoured with a posthumous Brit Awards lifetime achievement award. The singer, known as the Prince of Darkness, died aged 76 in July last year just over two weeks after his Back To The Beginning farewell concert.

Robbie Williams performed a tribute in celebration of his "inimitable impact and influence on music worldwide". The performance, curated by Ozzy's wife Sharon Osbourne, consisted of a special arrangement of Black Sabbath's 1991 song No More Tears, with Williams joined on stage by musicians who have previously played as part of Ozzy's band, including keyboardist Adam Wakeman, Metallica's Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos and guitarist Zakk Wylde.

Bosses also honoured Stones Roses bassist Mani with a tribute by Charlatans legend Tim Burgess.

Gary 'Mani' Mounfield died suddenly aged 63 last November, and close pal Tim delivered a moving speech in honour of his pal.

The ceremony also saw Happy Mondays duo Bez and Shaun Ryder reunite as guest presenters to present an award. The pair, who previously performed at the BRITs in 1991, were top of the wish-list for organisers intent on celebrating Manchester’s musical legacy.

A source said earlier this week: “They will hopefully bring some old-school Manchester energy to proceedings.”

Going into the ceremony Dean and Young topped the nominations with five nods apiece, while Fender trailed closely behind with four. Noel Gallagher was the recipient of this year’s Songwriter of the Year award.

Organisers said that his “songwriting has permeated the fabric of British culture for over 30 years, from his seminal work with Oasis to his ambitious and acclaimed solo albums with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds..” They added: “His songs span generations and have continued to resonate with audiences around the world like no other.”
